Phil Ivey has been branded as the best poker player on the globe by most of the top-ranked professionals. He was born in Riverside, CA and moved to New Jersey before reaching turning 1. His papa introduced him to one cent-ante Five-Card Stud poker. From that point on, Phil was hooked on poker and wanted to discover everything he possibly could about the game. He routinely told his parents that he wanted to be a professional poker player. Phil did not permit the negative feedback from others destroy his goal of being one of the strongest poker players on the planet.
Phil began playing intently after acquiring a false ID by the name of Jerome. He honed his game at the casinos of Atlantic City.
